Reading Update

I am addicted to Emily Giffin. It first started with Something Borrowed. I saw a preview for the movie coming out soon, and wanted to read the book before the movie came out. It was an impulse buy and - I finished the book in 24 hours.

It was that good. Another amazing impulse buy (like Eat, Pray, Love).

So then, the next night, I couldn't wait and went to Borders and got the sequel - Something Blue. It's a followup to Something Borrowed. I got it on a Friday - finished it Sunday afternoon. Less than 48 hours. Must be a new record for me.

Now I'm addicted. She has 3 other books out there - Baby Proof, Love the One You're With, and Heart of the Matter. They're all seperate plot lines from the first two, but I realized that I really liked how she wrote.

I just bought Baby Proof online 5 minutes ago. I didn't want to spend the full $15 at Borders, so I found a website selling it for under $4 - including shipping!!! It's used, which doesn't matter to me. It's still the same book! Plus, after I read them, I plan on trying to sell them online, so I should get some money back. Good deal.

Can't wait!! Only 7-14 days til Baby Proof arrives, and when it does, before I even finish it, I'm ordering another one because I know it will be done in less than 2 days!!

I've said it a million times...

But I really need to get back to reading. Recently, I read "Eat, Pray, Love" by Elizabeth Gilbert. I watched the movie and then bought the book online on impulse.

Best. Impulse. Buy. Ever.

Anyway, I saw a movie preview for "Something Borrowed". And I then (impulsively) bought it online from Amazon.com. And I know, I'm years behind the curve, but at least I'm not a bandwagon fan, right?

I read several reviews, and it seems like it's a very popular book. Plus (duh!) it's being made into a movie!

So between Emily Giffin and Elizabeth Gilbert, I've got a great series of books to start on either way! Not to mention the 18 books I already have stacked up at home to read, but at least it's a start!

Any thoughts/feedback/opinions on "Something Borrowed"??

Brief Update

Well it' s been more than a month again. And I can't say I haven't visited this site during that time; I have been catching up on your blogs! I keep checking the website and reading other blogs and thinking "wow I'm boring". But you know what? I've never been happier. I recently got out of a bad relationship. It's like a breath of fresh air. I spent almost 2 years being miserable, but now only have to think about ME finally. I recently moved into my "own place". Granted, my parents own it, but now (again), it's finally all about ME and what I want. (On a side note, I went out and bought a combo modem/router So, as I promised over a month ago, I will update you all on the remaining "topics" I had listed:

  • Recently, the lady who runs our employee events and employee newsletters (things going on at work, weddings, babies, etc.) moved to another department in the hotel. So her role was open. It was filled briefly by someone else at the hotel, but she then decided to go back to her original department, so it was open again. Basically, I was handed all of the newsletters and any kind of graphic design stuff that the position used to do! Another lady I work with got the party planning stuff (which is fine with me) and now I get to be much more creative. It's GREAT!

  • At the time I wrote my last entry, a Hungarian named Luca was living with my parents. She came to the US a year ago to work at the hotel, and my parents became her "host family" - basically, when they come work in America for a year, they're away from all their friends and family, and my parents would have her over for dinner, and to do laundry and basically be there for her. It was like having a roomate! She's my same age, and we talked about boys and family and life. She went back to Hungary, but it was nice having her around!

  • My New Year's resolutions (Yea, they're pretty much all broken by now). Not much else to add. But again - I'm just happy.

  • Don't remember about my reading list - but I haven't touched a book in a month. I should really start reading again!

  • Phone Saga - I switched to a Samsung Instinct back in October. I hated it. Other than the phone calls and texting, it didn't do a single thing I wanted. So I switched back to a Blackberry over a month ago. Again, another breath of fresh air. I LOVE it!!! And I have 2 sparkling rhinestone-type cases. HEAVEN.

  • Necklaces - for about a month back in Feb/March, I was making beaded necklaces like nobody's business. Well, that has slowed down a bit, but it was creative and sparkly and it felt good.

Whew. Well, that was my list. Hopefully another month won't go by before I blog again.

What happened?

Well...I feel like I should really blog, because it's been almost a month. But at this point, it's already 10 pm, and I have to be at work at 7 am tomorrow. And it's a very hairy day ahead. So I think instead I will watch some Netflix and doze off. But I have every intention of blogging a REAL blog soon, so to help my anal-retentive and somewhat spacey mind, I have to make a bulleted list so I remember.
  • I had a dream last night that someone walked up to me and just cut a huge chunk out of my hair for no reason. I did some googling, and I think I have the answer.

  • A major change in my life that happened a few months ago, and another one coming up in a month or two. (*Disclaimer - no, I am not pregnant!)

  • A promotion that I'm stressed/excited about at work.

  • A Hungarian student named Luca (pronounced "Lootza", like "pizza" but starting with "loot")

  • My New Year's resolutions (Yea, they're pretty much all broken by now)

  • My reading list

  • My phone saga

  • My necklaces

On second thought, maybe I should space those out into other blogs. Yea, that might be good. For the 8 followers!! :) Maybe I could get to 10 if I posted more??

And on that note, I wanted to share a picture that makes me happy:This is the cover of this month's Texas Monthly magazine. I may be in Colorado, but I'm still in love with Texas!!

So I’m back!! I figured I was due to update my blog and my resolutions on how I was doing.

First of all, I’m on track with my one book a month resolution. In January, I started to read "Inside of a Dog: What Dogs See, Smell and Know" by Alexandra Horowitz, and it’s a really interesting book (mini-review to come once I’m done), but by today, it’s simply not finished.

However, on Friday, January 28th, I walked into the library for employees we have next to my office, looking for a future month’s selection. I grabbed one short book (probably 25-30 with large print), called “Dinner with a Stranger” by David Gregory.

I read the entire thing over my lunch break. My resolution was technically achieved in a matter of half an hour without me knowing. It’s about a man who receives a dinner invitation by someone who claimed to be Jesus, and the man accepts. The more “Jesus” talks to him at dinner, the more the man starts to really think the stranger is Jesus. It’s basically a really good book on apologetics. It puts out some very familiar questions that I’ve either been asked or asked myself, and could never put it into words, and it actually has answers that just simply make sense.

However, it’s still bugging me that I haven’t finished my original January book, so I intend to finish it in February. I feel that I can say I read one book this month, since it’s the only one I’ve read in February and I will finish it!

Also, I have every intention of doing my scrapbooking page for this month this weekend. It only takes me about an hour a page, so I feel like I can do it – it’s just a matter of buckling down and getting started!!!

As for the weight loss, I’m not really down from January 1st, but I'm not up either. And the eating better – well, that fluxuates depending on the day. But, I have been very disappointed in my January performance, so I’m making a more conscious effort to consider what I’m eating and determine – “This is enough. You don’t need more, right? RIGHT!” Plus, I’m very busy at work, so I’m noticing that I’m not hungry as much as I used to be, which just proves to me that I eat out of boredom. I haven’t really worked out much, even after buying The Biggest Loser for Wii, but I’m just not a work-out type of person. I seem to do just fine without it.

And there you have it!! Thanks for sticking around!! And I can use your support and encouragement, so if you have any suggestions or comments on anything related to what I blogged about, then please share!

Lack of motivation

I’ve decided that while I’m still struggling with motivation to work out, that I can at least mentally work out. I have a large stack of books that I have been clinging to, in hopes that I will read through them. While I never read them, I continue to add to the list whenever an interesting book comes along.

A while back, I made a plan to alternate a fictional book with a non-fiction book with the idea that I would get through them faster by not focusing on one genre and feeling bogged down. That plan may have worked – if I had picked up 1 book to begin in the first place.

I just prefer after being at work all day to come home and unwind or “veg out” from the day by hanging out on the couch and playing with Bailey. But…I also do chores, like laundry, the dishes, cook dinner, etc. So when I’m done with what I NEED to do, I’m even more tired than before and am just not motivated to do what I WANT to do – read a book, exercise, scrapbook, etc.

But last week in my Weight Watchers meeting, we discussed being “empowered” and doing something you didn’t think you could do or have been putting off for a while and the feeling you get after you’ve finally accomplished that task. My goal before the next meeting was to scrapbook, and I did a page on Sunday while at my mom’s house!! It was just one page, and I still have many more pictures piled up to do, but it did still feel pretty good.

So my goal for this week (From tonight until Saturday) is to spend at least 30 minutes a night doing something I WANT to do. I want to feel like I can accomplish carving out 30 minutes to do something for ME. And it can be any of the tasks mentioned earlier – I just want to get into that habit. Then maybe I could make one night a week a particular task and then it will become a part of my life. But – if I can make it through at least 30 minutes a night, I can finally believe in the fact that I can really do whatever I put my mind to.

*Disclaimer: While I realize the last sentence of that last paragraph is the world’s oldest (and maybe cheesiest) adage, I think finally at 26 I’m realizing what that could really mean for me.

New Years Resolutions

I have a few things I would like to see myself do in this new year:

  1. Save money!!!
  2. Read 1 book a month.
  3. Catch up on my scrapbooking.
  4. Lose some stinkin' weight! I want to be back to my "I just moved to Colorado" weight, which means 30 lbs by the end of the year!
  5. Try to eat healthier and branch out into trying new recipes!

And on a side note, I'm really enjoying logging in and seeing that I have comments!! So thank you, and keep them coming!

Verdict is in...

I'm not sick! After my second "bout" of whatever it was that was bothering me last night, today was totally opposite! It must have been just a 24 hour bug or something.

On another note, my sister and her family come into town on Saturday for a week surrounding Thanksgiving!

And on an upside - I think tonight is the first night in probably a month (I haven't kept an official count) that I CAN'T hear my downstairs neighbor's music and/or tv through the floor!!! Justin and I did spend 2 hours of the evening eating dinner and playing Uno Dominoes (confusing game, by the way!!), so I can't account for the hours between 6 and 8 pm, but it's 9, and *knock on wood* I haven't heard anything! However, when he and I left, for some reason the neighbor's child, who is probably 3-ish, was screaming and banging/kicking their front door. I couldn't tell if it was happy screaming or a temper tantrum, but either way - COME ON!!! Who lets their kid just scream and kick doors???!?!!!? If you have a house, I guess let the kid work it out. But they're in an APARTMENT!! So I guess even though this started off as a positive thing, it became a negative. I should stop doing that!

Since it's finally quiet for one night, I think I'll crack open my non-fiction book that I promised myself I would read and get through one more chapter!!

Forgetfullness

I had a few extra minutes at work today, and wanted to jot down some thoughts about my family to blog about later. I suffer from a bad case of if I don't write something down, I'll forget about it forever. Normally when I make a blog "list" I e-mail it to my personal address so I'll have it when I get home.

I forgot to do that today. Oops. But I still wanted blog each day for NaBloPoMo, like I said I would! So expect that post tomorrow!

On another note, I finally finished my fictional book!! I gave myself a personal goal to read more books, by starting to read one non-fiction and one fictional book at the same time. I actually got more into my fictional book, because my non-fiction choice is a hard read. But now that I'm "down" to one book, I really want to finish it and really focus on what I'm reading. The good news is, my mom gave me another book to read last night, and I already have a good stack of more books on Ancient Rome, so I'll be able to start Cycle #2!

So, I will be reading:
"206 Bones" by Kathy Reichs - the famous author who wrote the books that inspired the FOX tv show Bones.

And "Roman Warfare" by Adrian Goldsworthy. Looks like a heavy read, but at least is has pictures and charts. I'm actually really looking forward to this. And to make matters worse, this was one of th books I was supposed to read on my Spring Reading List - that shows how far behind I am.

Reading Update

So, much to my surprise, and my pride, I have actually been reading the fictional book more often than the non-fiction book! Even though I am into the fictional book, I'm not so crazy about it. I'm a little bit disappointed.

I was expecting it to be a historical, puzzle-solving mystery. It's actually turned out to be a little slow. The book is told from first person perspective, which isn't totally my preference. The author, or "main character" even refers to the book that I'm reading!! She says things like "as you'll come to find out in this book" or "as you'll come to learn as you keep reading". That really bugs me because it's not really a true story or real life, so I don't like when characters talk about the book I'm reading! That takes away from the story, at least for me. I prefer to be a third-person viewer, and rather than hearing "I", I would like to read a story and hear things referencing things like "Susie" and "she". But, either way, the writer is very descriptive and even though it's not as historically or mysteriously as intriguing as I would like, it's still a good book.

Unfortunately for me, I really like the books where there are leads, and puzzles, and myteries. In this book, it's less mystery and puzzle solving and just more descriptives like "we were in the parlor" and "the dinner was wonderful. It consisted of...". I didn't really like that it was more of the day to day "boring" descriptive and less murder mystery and putting pieces of the mystery together.

But, the story is good and interesting, and hopefully by no means I have discouraged you from reading her books.

I don't think I will be buying any more books from this author though. But I will still keep looking out there for new mystery authors. So if you have any recommendations, then please share!

Cheers and Jeers

Cheers:

- Bailey has made it almost a full week not being locked up in his cage and he's doing great!
- It snowed yesterday and it's supposed to snow again on Wednesday!
- I'm really getting into both of my books, and that really excites me!
- Family is coming to visit for Thanksgiving and I have the day before off to help cook, the day of Thanksgiving to enjoy food, and the day after to watch the UT/atm game!

Jeers:

- For layoffs at work (not me; not yet, anyway)
- Neighbors playing their bass really loud every night for 2-3 hours.
- I don't think I'll be able to go to Texas for Christmas.
- I think I've bruised myself in approximately 3 places in the last 24 hours.

Blog to catch up on (boast about?) current reading progress coming soon!

Did you know...

  • The Roman army around the time of Augustus Caesar numbered at only 400,000, but they kept the peace of a Roman world of over 45 million people.
  • When Roman soldiers weren’t fighting, they were building. Most of the aqueducts and amphitheatres in the areas they were occupying were built by armies (like in France).
  • A typical soldier’s job (when there wasn’t a specific war going on) was stone-cutting for buildings, but most hated it. Those with something called “special letters of introduction” could practice a “trade” of their choosing, normally an administrative type position such as in a library, as a clerk, or in a surveyors or architect’s office.
  • The Roman soldier could move up the ranks by becoming the head man of his “mess” (the groups in which soldiers ate their meals), then a centurion’s second-in-command, then a centurion. To move up even further into the officer’s ranks, they would become a first cohort, then a knight. After that, they would retire, but usually only after serving, on average, 25 years if they volunteered. Some were even employed strictly to torture prisoners.
  • Discipline in the Roman army was taken very seriously. Favorite punishments of the emperors were to replace the wheat used to make bread in a soldiers diet with barley, public flogging of a soldier who misbehaved, reduction of a share of booty, or having 1 in every 10 soldiers from an “offending” cohort (legion), chosen at random to be clubbed or stoned to death by a soldier from another cohort.

Guess which of my two books I've been reading today.

I can't even write a real blog because I want to get back to the book!

Currently Reading...

I'm going to go against everything I've ever done in regards to book reading.
I'm going to read 2 books at once.
To help myself "break through", I've picked one fiction and one non-fiction to break it up. I just never liked the idea of reading 2 fictional books or more at the same time because I didn't want to get into multiple plots and either get them mixed up or not get the full effect of the plot lines.

So, the books of choice this round are:

  1. Non-Fiction: The Private Lives of the Roman Emperors by Anthony Blond. I'm already 1 chapter in, and the next chapter is about the Roman Army. For some reason, Mr. Blond picked Sex as the subject of his first chapter, and while it was interesting, it would definitely have been something I would have rather read last. It's a little bit of a harder read, and isn't quite as spell-binding as the Biography I recently finished about Augustus, but the facts are really interesting once I slow down and focus and process what I'm reading. There are a lot of things about the Romans that I bet you didn't know! And that's what I love finding out!!

  2. Fiction: Street of the Five Moons by Elizabeth Peters. This book was purchased as a spur of the moment decision, during a late night run to the grocery store. I'm always looking for great mystery/archeological/historical/puzzle solving fictional books (shocking!) so I thought I'd peruse the book aisle before heading to the check out counter. The cover and title caught my eye, and upon reading the back and the bio on the author, it turns out the book appears to have all of the above criteria I just mentioned, and the author apparently has a PhD in Egyptology. So she knows her stuff! I'm really excited to get into it. Oh yea - and the main character ends up chasing her mystery into - ROME!

So, since I can't decide on a weekly "theme day", and I don't have enough followers yet for a good cross-section of feedback, I'm going to go with blogging about books, whenever. I need to read more, and I always buy books and then don't read them, so I want to do this to hold myself accountable!!

Where, oh where, has my creativity gone?

I have been feeling nostalgic for a little while, and decided to go through my old blogs. Now, granted, it hasn't been a full year yet, but it's still interesting to look back. I noticed that in my first few months, I was coming up with creative images and thoughtful stories. Even if I didn't have anything too interesting that day, I at least took time to give a little laugh (so I'd hope), with stories about no coffee. I had "creative moments" firing all day.

What happened?

My more recent blogs haven't had anything interesting at all. A co-worker has told me multiple times that I'm a great story teller, and I can make even the simplest stories entertaining and funny. But it hasn't translated into my blog, which is "writing" for me, and I've always taken pride in how I can tell stories in writen form.

So, I vow to make myself proud and to be more creative! I believe part of the way I can bring that around is by reading more, and GOSH DARNIT I will read more!! Justin is going out of town in about 2 more weeks for a whole week this time. I just read my blog from the last time he went on vacation and I had a hard time filling a weekend. So I know for sure that a week will give me plenty of time to catch up on reading - no excuses!!

And in a totally random burst of creativity, and a previous blog post on travel, here's an amazing parting shot. I wish I could be there right now.

Into the Wild

So apparently I’m the only one in the entire world who has never read “Into the Wild”, by Jon Krakauer. I started describing this really “cool book” to Justin, and how I think he’ll like it, and he interrupts me and says, “what, like Into the Wild or something?”. And excitedly I said “Yes!”. Then I get this look of shock as he says, “how could you never have read Into the Wild?”

At my work, we have a “library” for our employees, where they can come and take books home. Yesterday, an employee returned “Into the Wild”, and since I love to read, I read the back cover of the book while it was on my desk waiting to be put back and was intrigued.

Despite Justin’s reaction, it’s not hard to see why I’ve never read the book. I wasn’t ever really into non-fiction (before college), and I definitely wasn’t about to read about hiking or camping or the wilderness. It also wasn’t a reading requirement in school for me, and after reading the book, I can see why some schools wouldn’t add it to their curriculum. It does talk about living a “vagrant” or responsibility-free life, with money, jobs, and titles all as meaningless labels. It also discusses the story of a man who decides, with little to no survivor experience and with not near enough supplies or food, to venture into the Alaskan wilderness, assuming that he knows what he needs to survive. He is found 4 months later dead in an abandoned transit bus. He did this alone, and all by choice. And he wasn’t mentally insane either.

I interpreted the cover as I was reading it as it being a story about a man’s body being found in the woods, and that it would be discussing how he got there and the investigation that followed. This hit on my Criminal Justice “nerve”. But the book goes into much more detail about his life than I thought, and about the lives of the people he met during his travels. It also goes into great detail about this man’s philosophy of life and nature, and why he would “do something like this”. The author also weaves stories from his own life that he feels really connect him with this unfortunate traveler he’s writing about.

The author also states, in not so many words, that people will read his book or hear this story and form their own opinion; either they’ll think “what he did was amazing and brave”, or “he’s completely stupid and deserved what he got”. To be perfectly honest, I am developing my own opinion. But I’m still on the fence. And I may never fully decide how I feel.

Either way, it’s still a very intriguing book, and although I had never picked it up before yesterday, I’m glad that I finally read it. (And for those of you keeping track, I picked up the book yesterday after someone returned it, and I finished it today at lunch. That’s less than 24 hours – and no, I’m not joking. It really IS that interesting!) I think the biggest reason why I read it, and read it so quickly was because I can’t fathom, in my mind, someone who is educated, reasonable, and considerably well off doing something like this. The opinions I form will definitely get me thinking. But no worries – I don’t plan on selling all my possessions and picking up and moving to Alaska anytime soon!

I’m also still going through “Augustus”, by Tom Everett, and it’s still interesting every time I pick it up. I’ve decided I love reading too much to keep putting it off each night – so I’m making it a goal of mine to read a minimum of 30 minutes a night, no matter what. Then I’ll be able to document thoughts and opinions and offer suggestions to anyone who may read this on here! Maybe not so much to the interest of any readers, but more so as documentation for me to look back on.

A blog that I follow has a completely separate blog on the books that she’s reading – I kind of want to start that, to keep me accountable for my reading and to share books with others, and to also get good recommendations. In that case, I may get rid of Bailey’s blog, since I talk about him on here anyway, and hardly update that one!!

It's Done!!

I finally finished Rubicon!! It was such an interesting book, and I'm hanging onto it to read it again in a year or two! The next book on my list is a biography entitled "Augusts" - on Augusts Ceasar and by the same author of the biography on Cicero that I own, Anthony Everitt.

To anyone that loves or appreciates history, I highly recommend Anthony Everitt. He's an easy read, but he goes into great detail, so you don't feel you're reading a 5th grade history book. I know he's written 2 books on the Roman history, and he also has a book out about Persia. Go check him out, and start (or continue) reading!

State of Emergency

Colorado Springs has been issued a state of emergency because of our annual Kick-Off to Spring Blizzard. (That's an unofficial title, by the way). But it happens every year...we get the one last BIG storm before the weather generally improves. So we're homebound this evening, and Justin is even grilling some steaks and shish-ke-bobs!

In the attempt to pass the time, I'm actually working on my Spring reading list. I'm still in the middle of "Rubicon", but I am on the last chapter, and the Republic is about to fall!!! Well, we already know that, but it's still interesting! Anyway, I brought it to work today to read some at lunch, and....definately left it in my desk. I'd hate to start on another book when I'm in the middle of or almost done with another one. But I've got that reading "itch". Especially since I'm home bound.

But, I've got a long night ahead of me. A new My Name is Earl (which is a seperate post in and of itself - I'm hooked!), a new Office and a new 30 Rock! So I'll be occupied until 9 pm or so. That just means I'll have plenty of post-Thursday night line-up reading, and if the storm gets worse and it doesn't look like I'll be going into work, then I will have a lot of time to read tomorrow as well!

Hope all you fellow Coloradans are keeping warm and safe at home!!

I hope to post pictures when I can find my stupid camera cord!

101 Dog Tricks

And don't think I won't be trying most of them!

I went to Borders tonight to help Justin pick out a birthday present for his boss, and ended up in the dogs section. We naturally look for anything that has a Weimaraner on the front and find this great book:

I can't wait to start training Bailey to do all these really cool things!! The book shows you how to do common things like sit, stay, come, roll over. But it also gets creative. Like...

Take a Bow...

Jump Rope...

And finally, Waving Goodbye!

I'm sticking to the plan!

Well i't 3 pm in Colorado Springs, and I've already taken the dogs to the park, watched another movie, and have clothes in the dryer. I'm making a dent on my list! I'm actually about to get started on picking up the house, then probably another movie. It's sad knowing my friends and family are out enjoying themselves, but at the same time I'm really enjoying getting little "honey do" things done.

It's hard to get to them throughout the week, but the weekend is a prime time for that. It's great!

I'm off to read/clean and wash some dogs!

Everybody’s Gone for the Weekend

At this moment in time (in my life), my mom, dad and boyfriend are all out of town. All of my options for entertainment are currently not viable options, so I am forced to find my own alternatives. It’s like a blessing and a curse – I have the freedom to do whatever I want, but I have so many options, that I can’t decide what to do, and I’m afraid that eventually, I’ll end up coming out of this weekend having done nothing I wanted to at all!!

I have actually written out a list of things I want to get done this weekend, but at the same time, I don’t know what to start with! As of 4 pm today until 9 pm Sunday night, I can do the following:

- dog park
- clean the apartment from top to bottom
- clean the house (the areas I used)
- catch up on my Spring Reading List
- blog
- go for a jog or two
- laundry
- organize at least 2 closets in the apartment
- watch movies I’ve bought but haven’t watched yet or go see Slumdog Millionaire, or watch My Name is Earl on DVD
- nap

For those of you who know me well, I’m a planner. I like to plan out as much as possible of my days, and then if something doesn’t take as long as planned, it’s like I’ve “earned” some free time. Part of me wants to sit down and schedule times for me to do all of the things to do on my list. I’m a practical thinker when I plan and try to multi-task my “chores” by organizing them all so that it all gets done in the most logical amount of time – for example, I can watch my movies tonight, and then the dog park first thing tomorrow so that they’re tired out, and then I can read a book while they’re sleeping. Then when they’re running around the backyard, I can do my laundry and clean up the house. The apartment can be Sunday. And so on.

I know. Nerdy!

But, I’m also a procrastinator. If I can wait until the last possible minute to do my “planned list”, then I will! When I can’t figure out where to start my planning, I stress! That’s not to say that I’m losing my mind right now, but Planner Karen is getting annoyed with Procrastinator Karen and I’d just as soon avoid them both completely!

Fortunately, work has kept me busy during the day this week, but I’m so bored at night without my “options” in town, that my mind wanders!!!
