As some of you may know, November is National Blog Posting Month (NaBloPoMo)! Last year I was able to accomplish the feat of posting a blog at least once a day for the entire month! So here I am to repeat!
In honor of this blogging month, I've decided to post about one of my favorite things - the show "30 Rock" on NBC! I recently decided to sign up for my own Netflix account and the streaming video instantly on my computer has become ADDICTING!! So I just finished watching the entire 4th season and now am about halfway through the 3rd season (yes, I'm working my way backwards).
I now can not go without doing a little dance every time I hear the theme song, and have started to quote the show's lead character, Liz Lemon (played by Tina Fey) on a regular basis. So please enjoy some of my favorite "Liz Lemon catchphrases". (I tried to find funny images/icons but I found this video instead - SHE'S MY FAVORITE)

State of Emergency
Colorado Springs has been issued a state of emergency because of our annual Kick-Off to Spring Blizzard. (That's an unofficial title, by the way). But it happens every year...we get the one last BIG storm before the weather generally improves. So we're homebound this evening, and Justin is even grilling some steaks and shish-ke-bobs!
In the attempt to pass the time, I'm actually working on my Spring reading list. I'm still in the middle of "Rubicon", but I am on the last chapter, and the Republic is about to fall!!! Well, we already know that, but it's still interesting! Anyway, I brought it to work today to read some at lunch, and....definately left it in my desk. I'd hate to start on another book when I'm in the middle of or almost done with another one. But I've got that reading "itch". Especially since I'm home bound.
But, I've got a long night ahead of me. A new My Name is Earl (which is a seperate post in and of itself - I'm hooked!), a new Office and a new 30 Rock! So I'll be occupied until 9 pm or so. That just means I'll have plenty of post-Thursday night line-up reading, and if the storm gets worse and it doesn't look like I'll be going into work, then I will have a lot of time to read tomorrow as well!
Hope all you fellow Coloradans are keeping warm and safe at home!!
I hope to post pictures when I can find my stupid camera cord!

Ho Hum.
I am sorry for not posting, for those of you who actually read this.
Other than work keeping me pretty busy, there isn't much else going on.
Justin left yesterday to spend 5 days with his old friends from college in New Jersey and Philly, so I'm afraid that I'm actually pretty bored. Normally he keeps me pretty well entertained, and now that he's in another state, I'm finding that it's harder to pass the time!! :)
In the meantime, I'm also dog sitting for my parents, and I'm staying at their house with the 2 dogs. Bailey is WAY overactive, and poor Baxter can't really handle him for more than 5 minutes at a time. And I'm finding that I can't handle the 2 of them together at the same time!!! It's a mad house!
So, I find myself with two noisy dogs who have both finally calmed down enough for me to watch my Thursday night, line up - Bones, The Office, and 30 Rock. I'm off to enjoy them!!

Comedy Quotes
Just some fun images on a quiet Thursday night...sorry they're small. Most of them are meant to be icons.
For those of you "Office" lovers -

Or for those of you familiar (ok, obsessed) with Scrubs...

And those who have had the blessing of watching 30 Rock:

Where on earth???
I bet you're wondering...it's been almost 3 days and Karen hasn't posted!!! Like I mentioned on my last post, I don't get sick that often so it was hard for me to roll out of bed to get to my laptop, or to even bother bringing in to me (because I slept so much). It was amazing though... I never knew I loved sleeping that much!! There’s nothing much going on, other than my nose is sore from sneezing all week, and my chest and throat are burning from coughing.
Right now, I’m just watching the 1st Season of 30 Rock on DVD and obviously catching up on the blog world. If you haven’t seen 30 Rock, I recommend that almost as strongly as The Office. You need to watch a few episodes though, in order to fully “embrace” the characters and the story line.
I’m also watching my sweet puppy murder a rawhide bone (don’t worry – this brand doesn’t give him diarrhea). So, since there isn’t much to report in my world (except that my 25th bday is coming up), here’s an update on how Bailey’s doing!! Last I weighed him, he was 106 lbs! I’m taking him in tomorrow to get a more recent number.

Here's my "bathing beauty" posing for me:
As part of my morning routine I always dry my hair last. Over the past 9 months or so he has gotten so used to my routine, and when I leave. So one morning, as I was combing out my hair after drying it, I came out of the bathroom, and he had brought his rawhide with him into his cage! (I took it out before I left though...) He was ready for me to go to work and went in his cage all by himself! So sweet!
He's now gotten into the habit of sitting under the table everytime I sit down at it (which is usually when I'm blogging)
